Bellemilia is a journey in the province and in the Emilian outskirts of non-places , anonymous landscapes, badly designed plazas , petrol stations forget . The non-places are not the other places , it does not mean it does not exist : they are spaces that put a strain on our powers of description because they have a clear and shared meaning. They are imprinted in our eyes for a few details : a monument , a sign , a poster evoking different times and places , a hidden door under the hedges , a Madonna on the corner of an ultramodern park. They are territories of everyone and no one , with their short stories that defy any interpretation but that changed the way we look . Are places stayed until paradoxically because anything can happen where nothing ever happens .
