about

Ciao — I’m Arianna Lerussi, a photographer and teacher from Italy who has been involved in photography in the past 15 years.

My journey with photography began in childhood, inspired by my grandfather, and deepened through academic studies. I pursued a degree in Visual Arts from DAMS and later refined my skills with a Master’s in Photography from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.

For more than fifteen years, I have collaborated with numerous fashion brands, capturing and narrating their stories through my shots. Alongside commercial work, my artistic path has been enriched by participation in various collective and solo exhibitions.

Over the years, my work has been recognized in several competitions, including being a finalist in Giovane Fotografia Italiana (2014), receiving a mention in Premio Celeste (2011), achieving second place in the international Satura Prize (2010), and winning the Martelive 2010 National Competition in the Photography section for Emilia Romagna.

My projects have also been featured in publications such as Donna Moderna, Fotografia Europea, Il Fotografo, UrbanReflex, C-41 Photographic Magazine, TWTGE, Enquire Mag, FrizziFrizzi, and GQ Italia, offering further opportunities to share my vision.

Since 2019, I have also had the privilege of teaching photography and audiovisual languages at the Artistic High School, in the Audiovisual and Multimedia department. This experience allows me to share my passion with younger generations.
